For a while now, actually a LONG while now, I have been in complete and utter disgust and two genres in perticular; Rap and Emo (OR screamo OR emocore, it's all the same shit).

Rap music is to music as 1983 was to video games. Namely the problem is too many sheeps, not enough shepherds in the world. It's clogging the airwaves with the same horribly repetitive and unoriginal songs ever created. Not only is the music terrible, the things they sing about are batshit insane.

Here is a list of what they have sung about in recent times;

No Air - (Have you seen the repetitiveness of this?!?!!??!)

American Boy - If this is one of your most recognisable singles, why does Kanye West do most of the lyrics? And once again, WAY too repetitive

Making Love in a Nightclub - (WHAT THE FUCK?!?!!? Firstly, thank you Usher and Young Jeezy for breaking down the stereotypes involving African Americans and their promiscuity. Secondly, having sex in a nightclub in places such as on a couch, on a table, in the bar, on the floor and my personal favourite: IN THE BATHROOM. Listen here you idiots; Getting a quickie in the bathroom of a nightclub is NOT love making. ALRIGHT?!?!?!?

Work - OK, I know you will most likely think that it's just my mind making this song sound like a three minute and twenty-eight second karma sutra manual to Kelly Rowlands body, but trust me, I'm really right about this. Here are some excerpts from the song;

Why does almost every rap song have to be about sex? It's not even music for music, it's music for money and fame. That makes rap music the #1 music genre for selling out. Another point I would like to raise is how do they write these songs? Do they think like: USHER - "HAY GUYS there was a hot chick I banged last night, let's write a song and get millions from the profits!"

Low - Another song about what happened last night in a club.

Evevator "featuring Timbaland" - OK, it's a song about an elevator. Pretty damn sure it's about sex as well. ALSO, this is a message to Timbaland: STOP featuring yourself in other people's songs. It's so fucking infuriating. What shat me off even more is when One Republic recorded a song and you claimed it as you own. All you did in that song was the fucking Heh......Heh Heh in the background and suddenly it becaus Timbaland ft One Republic. I don't even like One Republic and that pissed me off.

Tattoo - You're comparing your love of someone to a peice of permanent ink under your dermis? Unless your Tommy Lee or that guy who tattooed himself like a leopard, it's really lame.

Need I say more?

This, ladies and gents and hermaphrodites, is the complete destruction of our musical culture. No originality or meaning, just songs about sex and partying.

But Luke, you all say, alot of songs that aren't rap are by white people!

No Shit Sherlock. But has any other genre had so much repetitive redundancy about sex?
